Project Architect

AMY SCHARA, AIA is a licensed architect with over 14 years of professional experience. She developed a deep appreciation for the built environment through living and working in a range of urban and regional contexts, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Tampa, and Jacksonville. This exposure fostered a passion for architecture grounded in strong design principles, craftsmanship, and the human sense of scale. Her work is guided by the belief that architecture should create enduring environments that feel timeless, livable, and meaningfully connected to the people who inhabit them.

Amy earned her Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida, including participation in the East Asia Study Abroad Program, where she expanded her understanding of global architectural traditions and urban form. She went on to receive her Master of Architecture from the University of Southern California, where she also completed a Certificate in Landscape Architecture. This academic foundation informs a holistic approach to architecture that thoughtfully integrates building, site, and landscape.

Amy currently serves as a Project Architect, where her responsibilities include design development, design management, and coordination across a wide range of residential and hospitality projects. She brings a strong commitment to due diligence and a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that design decisions are well-informed and carefully coordinated. She is especially attentive to proportion, materiality, and detail, maintaining a cohesive design vision from concept through execution.

Amy is an active member of AIA Florida and AIA Tampa Bay and has contributed to the profession and the community through educational outreach initiatives and volunteer work.
